The Transdimensional Café (TDC) is a podcast dedicated to finding creative outlets and developing them for personal projects and financial growth. Each of the members of the show seeks to grow their own projects ranging from fiction development, song writing and composing, podcast production, game streaming, and more. The show acts as a yardstick to keep us on task with where we are with these projects and help build interest around them. It’s also a place where we can taunt each other and find encouragement through competition. In addition to our own development, we’re looking to have other creatives on to talk about their interests, desires, and productions.
TDC is recorded live on Sunday nights around 10pm (EST), and can be interacted with on Mixlr. Episodes go into the RSS on Monday evenings at 10pm. The current hosts are Justin Diehl, Brian Hessee, and Dakota Lewis.
One of the founding members of the Transdimensional Café, Justin has taken part in all iterations of the series. He provides hosting, editing, and broadcasting services for the podcast, as well as assists with the social media for the series. His social media contacts can be found on Twitter, Facebook, Steam, and his personal site. For email, connect here. He thinks of himself as in charge or something, but is quick to be reminded that the show would be far less interesting without the others keeping him on task.
Outside of TDC, Justin is a writer, podcaster, and gamer. His fiction can be found on Amazon under the pen name J Samuel Diehl. In addition to TDC, he manages the podcasts The Hiddengrid: The Sixth World Chronicles [A Shadowrun actual play podcast series], The Hiddennode [His personal audio blog], and is a co-host on The Seize the GM Podcast. He occasionally streams on twitch under the screen name nulloperations.
The latest member of the Transdimensional Café, Brian is one of the regular co-hosts in this iteration of the series. He provides the open music for each episode of the podcast, content, social media and general advertising for the series. His social media contacts can be found on Twitter, Facebook, and plays on FFXIV. or email, connect here. He’s new to this podcasting thing but has already mastered the art of shit talking and is getting addicted to enjoying the process.
Outside of TDC, Brian is a Dad, a musician and a (sort of) gamer. During the day, and often times at night, Brian is working on creating new ear bleeding shite…er, music under the name of Reality’s Stepchild. Brian hopes to someday get something actually finished to the point that he can release it in the wild, where it will still never be heard other than by those poor unsuspecting sods that he forces at gunpoint to go listen to his attempts at musical creativity.
One of the founding members of the Transdimensional Café, Dakota has returned to be a co-host when he feels like it in this iteration of the series. He provides show notes, content, social media and general advertising for the series. His social media contacts can be found on Twitter, Steam, and his personal site. For email, connect here. He says he’s not really here but continues to do the job of keeping Justin from getting full of himself while general shit talking with Brian.
The Transdimensional Café has been around since 2010 as a show dedicated to creatives finding an outlet. In our various incarnations we’ve had writers, bloggers, podcasters, gamers, musicians and other creatives take part in the show as either a guest or co-host. The current iteration is the fifth version of the show. Past hosts have included the founders Justin Diehl, Andrew Henderson, and Dakota Lewis, with guests including F7lans Admin Michael DeProspero, and podcast author Jack Jaffee.
